Get some Wizdom

A good friend of ours is back at it again….with some hometown love. Seattle is getting serious. Real serious. He did acouple tracks with football star Nate Burleson and is on the rise to underground super stardom. His EP is free to download here. You can thank me later. You can also check him out on wizdomsound.com in the future.
No commentsPhantom in Belltown
Since NamsayinWalt put a post on that Bugatti, I figure we keep it going with another vehicle to add, it isn’t a million bucks, but its about a 3rd of a milly. Here is a Black Phantom, not just a stock Phantom but a Phantom sitting on 24’s namsayin, double R. Fack!
R.I.P. Michael Jackson
Here is an oldie I found of NamsayinWalt breaking it down in 2007, we love Michael Jackson, he is and always be a legend.
You will be certainly missed, and you will always be “The King of Pop”.

Every 1st Thursday of each month, Pioneer Square hosts an open public art walk, show casing local artists. If your free come by and check it out namsayin.

Cool very cool
Received a package from Kali, thank you broskee (NamsayinWalt)… He said he was sending some shoes, so i was automatically thinking, “oh yes Nike’s” but I was wondering what kind maybe air max, jordans, new dunks… looks like they weren’t Nike’s but rather Pony’s… I know I know… your thinking Pony’s? Back in the day if you were caught wearing anything else thats considered a hand me down brand you would get some serious backlash from your classmates. Pony has stepped up there game and in my book they are cool very cool. Check it namsayin!!
Shaun Neff X Pony Signature

I like the Panda logo

Released in April but you can still find these floating around somewhere, just gotta look.
J. Dilla: Jay $tay Paid
J.Dilla…..what can i say about the man. He’s every music producer’s favorite producer. Known for working with prince, Janet Jackson, Busta Rhymes, Common, De La Soul, Tribe Called Quest and Pharcyde. He was a producer that made beats bang so hard that you didnt need an engineer to touch em up or master it. He had that special touch in creating and flipping/manipulating original beats to something unique and crazy where you would bug out. He also had off beats that sound wicked, but u vibed hard to it. J Dilla, althought his life was short lived (02.10.2006), has gone down in history and thats why today his work is highly celebrated more so than when he was here with us on earth. Google him, youtube him, read up on it.

Fast forward, 2009, his new album titled Jay $tay Paid released last week and i im proud to say that i took part in the album layout/imagery selection for his 12″ vinyl that will be releasing soon. The Artwork was done by world renowned Artist/illustrator/graphic guru to our generation, FATOE, along with Anthony Williams for the cd release, but below were two images I maniuplated in photoshop that were used in the cd release layout.

For the 12″ vinyl, i was fortunate and honored to work on the layout. I did majority of the photoshop work to the images and layed everything out in junction with Jon “mainframe” Ancheta, who was in charge of A&R direction of the album. The vibe that we were going for was more of a spirtual sense because we felt like it was right to do so……..in many ways he is godly and worshipped by many. The whole 12″ vinly release will come with a bumper sticker, loose fliers and vinyl labels. There isnt a date on when the 12″ is going to be released, but those that know wassup will cop it and ad it to there collection. Thanks to Jon Ancheta that put me on this project it was an honor and I knew how important this album release meant to you. Peep out the work.
NOTE: *majority of the work shown here that i did were comps to show Nature Sounds. The final product has not been release.*
