03 Zlogblog ZACH’S RADIO FIXIE
Zloggy, Zach Bossington, Mr. Fixed gear of Seattle…..the nicknames can go on. This year’s first Bike of the Month had to go to Zach from Zlogblog. Zach has been riding for a good 4 years and with a huge following behind his blog, it’s only right that we do it right in 2012. Aside from riding his ill Radio, Zach is a avid track rider as well as a one man sniper when it comes to business. As owner and operator of his blog he’s currently developing his own graphic t-shirt line as well a bunch of hats in the works. I’m sure if you’re into the fixie community that you’ll recognize his logo. Now if you don’t know, we’ll now you know, namsayin. Be sure to check out his blog ZLOGBLOG.
02 FELIX LUONG’S BARE KNUCKLE FIXIE
Our second entry to our Bicycle of the Month goes to Felix Luong. Now he has a pretty interesting story. Some bank on a pay check to pay check for a new toy, some play the lotto and do it big, but with Felix he didn’t bank on either. He actually got blasted by taxi cab. Now before you say, “See! FACKIN’ cyclist not looking.” We’ll the taxi cab wasn’t looking and blew through a stop sign in the U-District and hit Felix cold. So cold he flew 15 feet in the air. The beauty of it is he came up. He was hurting of course, but he was able to get a fat settlement check from mr. taxi cab. And thats where he decided to build a fixie that rode like butter and rode solid and clean. He sure paid for it and thank God he’s still alive. In fixie we pray.
01 EDDY IGNACIO’S ’92 CANNONDALE TRACK.
This is the first entry to many. Namsayin.com loves the way some of the riders from Seattle have built and pieced their bikes; the frame-set, the selection of parts, colorways seem to go so nicely, it all contributes to a beautiful 2 wheeled masterpiece. Our first feature goes to Eddy Ignacio. He’s been riding fixed since ’07. What started as a means to commute to school, later grew into a hobbie that he undeniable had a niche for. It’s been his dream to own a ’92 cannondale track; the aggressive geometry, track geometry, tight clearance and “Blue is my fav color” and it’s “old” he says. He absolutely enjoys the simplicity that fixed gear bikes present itself to be. Low maintainance and clean is what he enjoys. And we can see that, he’s built a “ughhhhhh” worthy bike. FACK! Good job Eddy. Way to build pal!
Thanks Eddy for sharing allow us to shoot your bike. If you have a bicycle that’s got alot of action or just want to entertain our readers with your dope build, please feel free to submit your bicycle to Namsayin07@gmail.com. We’ll review the photos and if we like what we see, then who knows. Maybe you’ll just make it on the site. Thanks and send away.
