It’s that time of the year

It is that time of the year. It’s definitely that time of the year where we can often times find ourselves lost in the world of buying gifts, drinking spiked eggnog, putting up the dopest xmas lights, setting up that cool nativity scene or just keeping it simple with a good ‘ol fashion Santa Hat. Yes the time is here namsayin followers and we do have some breaking news. It’s been a year of thinking, rebuilding, alot of idea planning and more questions keep coming, but the main one that remains constant is, “WHATS NEXT FOR NAMSAYIN?”

This year was a big challenge for us as a brand. We’ve gone through so many changes within our team, priorities have changed for people and it’s definitely for the better. Our good friends, supporters, haters, on-going hypebeaster, super modern “I’m to fresh for the northwesterners” have all contributed to our success in many ways. There has been contemplation of deleting the clothing side of everything and focusing on just making namsayin an online magazine. There has been discussions of just quitting in general and giving up on this whole “brand” thing. For those that know us, we don’t give up easily. So the idea of “QUITTING” wasn’t going to happen. Yes, we’ve made changes and yes we’ve grown tons and tons through the dark days, but like everything else. XMAS has arrived to shed new light (literally) on what we plan on doing (actually we’ve been planning a whole lot)

For the next couple days, you’ll see on going imagery and update to our splash page. Some will be straight forward, some of it will be obscure, but more importantly “WE AINT GOING NO WHERE!” We know where we come from and it’s been a pleasure updating this blog and constantly feeding the community with insight of what’s fun, cool, new, tasty, ughhh!, action-packed, here in this top left of the United States of America area that we call the NORTHWEST. So sit tight because there’s a shit load of gifts we’ll be sharing with you in 2013 and our mission will be clearer than ever. This will probably be my last entry on the blog for 2012. So to our followers, Happy Holidays, Happy New Year! Kick out the bad habits for 2012 and bring in that good action, namsayin! 2013 is just around the corner.

It’s definitely been awhile, but just continue to follow us and you’ll see what we got planned for next year. I’m a firm believer that your community is your backbone. Nothing beats gaining satisfaction from your hometown / rooted foundation than anything. This is a bit delayed, but about a week ago WAPI put on a benefit concert to showcase some of their after school program student’s talent. If you don’t know what WAPI is, they’re a non-profit organization that teach the youth to harness their creative in either beat production, music or art. Some kids don’t have alternatives or mentors for these avenues; WAPI does that. Spearheaded by Greg Garcia and his team, they’re in need of funding. The show @ neumos was definitely entertaining. Performances by local artists Prometheus Brown (Aka Geo of Blue Scholars), SPAC3MAN and Grynch were amongst the few that put on a sick performance. WAPI is still encouraging the community to help. It’s been awhile since I’ve posted, but we’ve here at Namsayin have been working hard. Grindin’ so hard, working so hard, everything getting harder, but it’s fun seeing your hardwork pay off. Over the year and half we’ve been operating as a clothing brand, we’ve met all sorts of people; and in return those people that we’ve met have continuously show support over and over. Our family, our close friends and the new relationships we’ve grown to appreciate is truly a blessing. So with that said, we’d like to show everyone our thanks. And when I mean everyone, I mean YOU! The person that bought a shirt, the person that helped apply a sticker to some of our cars / bikes, the loyal customers that continues to rep namsayin verbally and to fall into our own lingo within our brand. Everything all adds up and we have to say that we are not successful without YOU GUYS! SO YOU GUYS come to Last Supper Club in Pioneer Square on Friday, Oct. 5, 2012 (yep! this friday) and come down. There will be lots of “BEVERAGES” and lots of “ACTION” on LEVEL-ONE. Entrance is free before 11pm, you can get in free anytime of the night if you have any Namsayin Gear on and we’ll be giving away free shirts all night. Come early, come late, just come, namsayin! Bring your friends because we’d like to tell them the story about how YOU made us successful. Thanks to everyone who’s worked their butts off in the brand, from my Al-Michael, to Terry Eng, to our friends who come in and play bodyguard by our booths at all the NVRMT promotions / Skratch Lounge Events.
