Terrence Jeff Santos
Terrence, Jeff, Terrence Jeff, Mr. Santos. Get with it. He’s an up and coming director based here in Seattle who is loaded with talent. We were blessed to be on set with Mr. Santos’ latest project. It’s a short that includes games and dancing and DEATH! Don’t worry, nobody was hurt while shooting the film. Working hard and pushing the envelope is what Terrence is the best at. We’ve worked with Terrence on a number of “Know Where You Came From!” Projects and Jeff doesn’t skip a beat. It’s 3am and it looks like it’s 2pm. It’s all in the details.
Some familiar faces in helping with the short, is Seattle’s own Massive Monkees. Looking forward to attending there Anniversary Jam later on this month (April 21st to be exact).
It was a constant routine for the b-boys to take break between takes. Terrence was in constant flow; checking the play back monitors / directing and taking charge, making sure everything is what he invisioned.
JuseBoogy and Iron “Mike” Brysen taking direction from Director Santos.
Lights, camera action. Tim “The Pitt” in front of the camera wreckin’ hard.
Stay tuned. We’ll have more updates on Terrence’s work. We also have a project with him in the creative room at the moment. Stick around and you’ll see the action unfold, namsayin.

ASP Headers
Jojo Callos and Jeremy Lookofsky, to name a few have raced with it and have managed to benefit from the header creations of Stefan Barbu. These serious drag racers are hitting low 9s in the 1/4 mile. Stefan has been in the import drag racing game for over 10 years now. He has built a name for himself and is becoming a proven name behind what he builds best; HEADERS. Year after year, race after racer he has proven his headers to be the best in the industry and takes pride in each one. The k series swapped headers prove power and he guarntees results. Located at 710 Central Ave S. Kent, WA, his shop is small, but his name transcends around the world when it comes to his all his race proven products.
Those that have been following us might think we’re just into bicycles, but to be honest with you; we all come from a car background. Al-Michael being part of Team Menace, Terry being part of the Lowriding scene and myself, being a car designer by trade. It’s in the brand and it’s in the blood, however seeing that we love bicycles we had to enlist the expertise of Stefan and his craftsmanship in modding the bicycle frame for our HELLO BICYCLE build; and the result are simple enough, TOO DOPE. He takes pride and you can see just by the tig welds and the construction of his headers.
Aside from the headers he tests, R&Ds and constructs; Stefan also ports, polishes and does headwork to improve air flow and exhaust flow. Talk about a guy that does it all; this guy is a machine. The pictures below do no justice to his work. Each K series cyclinder head he works on goes through a process of airflow testing, porting and polishing, testing and repeat until the head is finally to spec “A secret spec by his standards” in coordination with his headers. Again, proving power.
Currently he is getting ready for race season. This front end is getting some work. Yep. When it’s finished it’ll be a eg k-series beast and the best part is that his wife will be racing right behind him in her project. Stay tuned for more updates. However, you can visit there site and check out all the proof of Stefan and his ASP headaer creations. Thanks for the bicycle frame work Stefan. Namsayin familia for life. In ASP HEADERS we trust.

Namsayin x Hello Bicycle Bicycle build: Frame Mod
It’s been awhile since we’ve been showing progress with our bicycle build (that’s because of the travelling this last 2 months) but we definitely had to kick it up a notch with some welding and fab expertise. We enlisted the help of hometown hero, Stefan Barbu of ASP (Advanced Street Performance) in Kent, WA to do the fab work. We’ve marked all the sections and showed Stefan where to make the changes; time for him to go to work and do what he does best. Import cars is what he likes racing, but he’s someone I only trust in the fabrication world. More in depth story about Stefan and ASP this week. Stay tuned. Looking good Stefan.
One of many projects. Yep. That’s a k20 beast in that DC2. Follow us. Let’s go!

Seattle Hip-Hop is on its way
Ughhh! I know im late with the news, but seeing everyone’s updates via facebook and how happy my fellow hip hop heads have been reacting to the amazing news I had to do a write up and give praise to our new front runner to the hip hop game here in Seattle; Macklemore. Macklemore has been putting in work for years and it’s a beautiful time and feeling to embrace his it; considering there are a ton of hip hop artist running with the same cliche outfit/style/delivery.
With that said, our friends at Madnw.org have been putting out snippets of there up and coming documentary in the works. They’re working on a full length documentary surrounding Seattle’s hip-hop scene and this is just a taste. Congrats to Macklemore and congrats to YOU, the people of Seattle; who’ve been believeing in the music and for being proud of where we came from. Cheers to the next level.

Meet the Sweets: Malice & Mario Sweet
Soul music. Who doesn’t like soul baby? Exactly. I think soul music has lost its purity off this year. Although there are acceptions to the case. Hailing from our city Allen Stone is proper soul singer (actually im trying to hold back, but he’s real ill) and then there’s Seattle’s favorite couple that’s been making music so sexy that you’d probably want to just skip the previews and go to the feature presentation already namsayin! Truth be told, Malice & Mario Sweet music have been blazin’. They are currently working on new music with the goal to release a project in the Fall. There last album, Happy 2 Year was voted onto several “Best (Soul) Albums of 2011″ lists including #1 on Dreamchildes Weblog. It’s received airplay on (BBC Worldwide Radio) The Giles Peterson Show and has been featured in DList Magazine, Soulbounce, Kevin Nottingham, Bama Love Soul, The Seattle Times, KIRO My Northwest and other various sites as well as local (KEXP, KUBE) and international airplay from Spain to Japan. Major moves, power moves.
I first was put on to their music about a year ago, thanks to The Physics and my brother, Al-Michael. Malice & Mario are family to The Physics camp as well as to the local hip hop scene. Aside from their own projects, they’ve been working hard along side of Seattle hip hop’s finest singing their hooks while being contributors to the emerging Seattle music scene. To name a few that you should already be familiar with, Blue Scholars, The Physics, Wiz, Grynch, etc. They’re pretty much family.
Tomorow night, I suggest the following: Fellas, take your lady out or a lady friend or a girl you want to get sexy with and ladies tell a guy friend, your bf or your lover to take you out tomorrow night. Some of Seattle finest soul singers will be in the building injunction with Epathy Records. It’ll be a dope event for you to chill and vibe out to. Music guranteed to get you in the mood for some action jackson romantic satisfaction, Namsayin. Malice and Mario Sweet along with the homie, Nate Vibez will be in the building spreading love and getting ya’ll in the moood. Ughhhh! Sex.

Namsayin “We’re Still Locked Out Namsayin” T-Shirt Preview
I’m glad that the NBA season has been a very entertaining one, but the truth of the matter is; Seattle still doesn’t have it’s Sonics. We’ve been contemplate on the idea for awhile to design a t-shirt that embraces our city and so here it is. There’s alot of people working on getting a team back. Gary Payton along many others are trying really hard to bring a NBA team to Seattle. It’s all in the works, but till then we can’t help but push the movement forward.
The shirt is available in a single colorway; picture here. The shirt will be available in sizes small – 2xl sizes. Sizes are limited and will go fast. Below is an enlarge photo of the front print.
Since 2008 we’ve been fighting to get our Sonics back. We, the people of Seattle, hold the key that can unlock our future NBA team.
Our “Still Locked Out, Namsayin” Tee will be available via onlineshop February 20th, 10am PST. These shirts are limited to only 50 prints total and will not be reprinted.
