Our “Grind” our “Motivation”

February 18th, 2011 | Category: Namsayin

When clothing brand’s emerge, the usual stigma that follows is “oh fack another T shirt company.” Although, this is true, there are brands out there that are pushing their community to embrace their city and what they have to offer; and thats what we’re about. We’ve been getting ton’s of request for new bus route’s to be printed. Some people who have came asked if we’d do a “shoreline” route or “skyway” or “MLK” “W. Seattle” but to tell you the truth; you’re gonna have to sit and wait kiddies. For those that missed out on picking up the #36 Beacon Hill “Know where you came from” T-shirt, you can support our city through our other designs.

There will always be love and support to our neighboring communities in the designs and pieces we put out; hometown love is where it begins for us. On our “Grindin’ Daily” piece, alot of those that aren’t aware of it, but Beacon Hill is embeded in the design. Cant see it? Take a closer look.

“Cafe 98108″ is forever printed on this “Grindin’ Daily” T-Shirt. So for those Beacon Hillers out there, never feel left out. We’ll always have references to represent where we came from.

Every person’s motivation is different. When you work hard for the things that you want in life, the pay off is huge. For our “classic motivation” everyone is fueled by the loved ones who support them, the money they are so hungry to obtain and the music. Music motivates you undeniably. So let music move you towards your goals.

We’ve been getting a great response to our #7 Rainier Beach Tees. It surprises us that our consumers aren’t at one age range. It varies from the 58 yr old lady that bought shirts for her son to the 25yr old corporate city worker taking a break from his 9-5. We still have tons of shirts availale in various sizes, but don’t wait till our last day (sat. feb. 19th) to pick a T-Shirt here at Deli.

Grindin’ Daily, Classic Motivation and #7

February 14th, 2011 | Category: Namsayin

Today our shirts go on sale. 78 #7′s, 78 Grindin’ Daily and 78 Classic Motivation Tees. We will be selling them all week here at @ DeliSeattle (1307 1st. ave.) Depending on our sales of this run, we might do a second run. However, don’t wait till that second run happens. Come down to the shop and get yours. Often times we are left with so many questions like “when are you gonna do another run?” or “Ya’ll have more of those #36 Beacon Hill shirts left?” As much as we’d like to do another run of the #36′s, we aren’t. Once they’re sold out; they are sold out.

For some of you that haven’t been to Deli; lets take a quick tour. Deli Seattle is one of a few boutique stores that focus on independent brands/labels. Owner Max Heigh and store buyer, Rob Leblanc, keep the shop moving solid. Upon entering the shop, there’s alot of cool motifs that exemplify a “deli.” From their refrigerated Denim display, to their Artist Series Tee Shirt cooler, Deli keeps Seattle’s Mens fashion pretty tasty. Max’s family comes from a chain of deli’s; majority of the deli’s he helps manage are in our lovely Sea-Tac Airport.

Aside from brands such as Bench, Nudie Jeans, Staple Designs to name a few; they have an Artist Series Tee shirt collection of local Seattle based artists. At their old location on 87 yesler way, they participated highly in Seattle Art-Walk that would take place every first thursday of the month. Alex Huxley, Bobby Jo, John Oshgood and Joe Vollin to name a few that have participated in the series of shirts. Not to mention myself as well.

All week, we’ll be updating from Deli. Be sure to stop on by, say “hello,” pick up a t-shirt, check out some of the awesome brands that the store carries, touch the fruit around the shop, try on some denim from Nudie and whatever else you’d like to try; we’ll be here and we’d like to meet some of our readers / followers.
