May 17th, 2012 | Category: Namsayin

I met up with Kore Ionz singer, writter, rhythm guitarist, ‘ukulele jammer extrodinare, Pak to catch up on what’s in the works for him and his band Kore Ionz. Kore Ionz has been putting it down for over 8 years now when it comes to the Reggae scene here in Seattle. He recently flew out to Jakarta, Honolulu and now back in Seattle for projects with their sophomore album titled, “World War Free.” There song, “Love you Better” is getting major airplay, so go to there site and request heavy.

Eric Yamada (da808Seattle) and Terrance-Jeff Santos (Right) are set to work with Kore Ionz on a upcoming video project, “First Avenue” with features Geo / Prometheus Brown.

After some coffee and alil bit of laughs, stories and ideas about love / fear, we decide to listen to some jams. Check ‘em, follow ‘em HERE.

Later on that evening, I met with local bad boy, Wizdom. He just got back in from his trip So. Cal. We talked about future projects; one that includes a video project with Terrance-Jeff Santos and former Seahawk’s, now Detroit Lion’s Wide Receiver, Nate Burleson.

Amongst other things, we talked about how social media / name dropping / track dropping has gotten him airplay over-seas, what he plans on doing this summer and how he encourages everyone to keep sexy this summer and beyond. Namsayin x Wizdom will be working on a project in the near future. Stay tuned for the action and the offical video release. Ughhh! All day baby.

Zlogblog presents: Future Tense

April 16th, 2012 | Category: Namsayin

Action packed for sure. It was our first time attending Zlog’s Future Tense Event. In attendance were some tricksters, some sprinters and definitely a handful of cyclist out for a good time. The event began with a short ride from capitol hill to ravenna. I didn’t manage to go on the ride, but I was there for all the other action.

The event started off with sprint races, while the tricksters warmed up on the ramps and boxes. It was a mixture of racers; from fixies, to multi gears and single speedster. Check out the action.

Once the sprints were finished and a winner was delcared, the night pressed forward with some wicked air and some tricks that would make you say, “Fack!” or “Daym.” or “he got up!”

The homie Eddie (1st namsayin B.O.T.M.) drinking some brew and check out some air.

The night definitely got a bit more crazy. In short, watch this video. Need I say more?

We definitely met a good handful of people. Anthony’s Dolan tracksetup caught our attention. Stay tuned for a upcoming feature.

Definitely good times. Towards the end of the night, raffle numbers were called and people walked away with headsets, gear from zlog and even a Leader Frame.

Future Tense goes down every second Friday of the month. Thanks again to Zach ( Sonics T), Tyler (Far right) and the rest of the Zlogblog fam for throwing a cool event. Don’t miss out next time.

Namsayin “We’re Still Locked Out Namsayin” T-Shirt Preview

February 13th, 2012 | Category: Clothing

I’m glad that the NBA season has been a very entertaining one, but the truth of the matter is; Seattle still doesn’t have it’s Sonics. We’ve been contemplate on the idea for awhile to design a t-shirt that embraces our city and so here it is. There’s alot of people working on getting a team back. Gary Payton along many others are trying really hard to bring a NBA team to Seattle. It’s all in the works, but till then we can’t help but push the movement forward.

The shirt is available in a single colorway; picture here. The shirt will be available in sizes small – 2xl sizes. Sizes are limited and will go fast. Below is an enlarge photo of the front print.

Since 2008 we’ve been fighting to get our Sonics back. We, the people of Seattle, hold the key that can unlock our future NBA team.

Our “Still Locked Out, Namsayin” Tee will be available via onlineshop February 20th, 10am PST. These shirts are limited to only 50 prints total and will not be reprinted.

B.O.T.M: Zlogblog Zach’s RADIO FIXIE

February 03rd, 2012 | Category: Namsayin

Zloggy, Zach Bossington, Mr. Fixed gear of Seattle…..the nicknames can go on. This year’s first Bike of the Month had to go to Zach from Zlogblog. Zach has been riding for a good 4 years and with a huge following behind his blog, it’s only right that we do it right in 2012. Aside from riding his ill Radio, Zach is a avid track rider as well as a one man sniper when it comes to business. As owner and operator of his blog he’s currently developing his own graphic t-shirt line as well a bunch of hats in the works. I’m sure if you’re into the fixie community that you’ll recognize his logo. Now if you don’t know, we’ll now you know, namsayin. Be sure to check out his blog ZLOGBLOG.

Alive and Well

February 02nd, 2012 | Category: Namsayin

A new skate boutique / shop has opened up in the heart of Capitol Hill. Alive and Well is here to offer the skate community and streetwear community what they need. We went to their offical opening last night to check out the action and I’d have to say that the place is put together nicely. From the wooden themed walls and front checkout counter to their skate decks and merch, this boutique store is definitely a destination spot. Here’s some pictures of last nights shinanagans. We’ll have a more in depth story on owner’s Marcus, George and Steve later, namsayin.
