Being native from the 808 state, I was super excited to hear that a local restaurant opened up in Seattle, WA where i reside now…the famous conveyor belt sushi place..GENKI SUSHI.  I just had to try it out and see if it’s just like back at home<3

The restaurant was nice, they did a really nice job on the inside.  There was a wall full of white fish head statues that greeted us as we walked in.

All in all the food was pretty good…but the service sucked ass!  We didn’t even know who our waitress was because no waitress even checked to see if we needed anything. I had to keep calling em and asking for things before they even thought about asking if we needed wasabi first off! THEN i had to ask for my hot tea when the hostess said someone will be bringing our waters and hot tea right away…whatever… OH and i was craving for ikura but for $4.80 for just a pinch of it…no thank you.  This place was kind of a disappointment.  I’m sad to say that it’s from the islands…

Would I ever go back? Maybe if their service gets better i will, but as for now probably not…
